Defensible space is the buffer around a home where vegetation has been cleared, thinned and spaced so a wildfire slows down and drops to the ground before it reaches the structure. - [Fuel Mitigation & Forest Thinning](https://www.azdefensiblespace.com/fuel-mitigation): Priced by the acre or the day. Fuel mitigation is the removal and rearrangement of vegetation across a property to reduce how intensely a wildfire can burn there. - [Forestry Mastication](https://www.azdefensiblespace.com/forestry-mastication): Priced by the acre or the day. Forestry mastication, also called forestry mulching, uses a machine-mounted grinding head to shred brush and small trees into mulch on site. - [Land & Lot Clearing](https://www.azdefensiblespace.com/land-clearing): By the acre or the day. Land clearing removes brush, small trees and debris from a lot or acreage so it can be sold, insured, built on or maintained. - [HOA & Community Wildfire Mitigation](https://www.azdefensiblespace.com/hoa-community-wildfire): Assessment is free. HOA wildfire mitigation is fuel reduction across a community's common areas, open space, roadsides and perimeter, planned so the whole neighborhood is harder for a wildfire to move through. - [Community & Common Area Assessment](https://www.azdefensiblespace.com/community-assessment): The assessment is free. A community wildfire risk assessment is an on-the-ground review of an HOA's or community's common areas, open space, roads and perimeter that finds where wildfire fuel is most dangerous and what each area needs. - [Tree Removal](https://www.azdefensiblespace.com/tree-removal): Priced per tree, after we see it. Tree removal is the felling or sectional dismantling of a tree and the cleanup of its wood and debris. - [Tree Trimming & Pruning](https://www.azdefensiblespace.com/tree-trimming): Hourly or by the job. Tree trimming removes dead, damaged, crowded or low limbs to improve a tree's health, safety and fire resistance. - [Storm Cleanup & Fallen Trees](https://www.azdefensiblespace.com/storm-cleanup): Priced on site. Storm cleanup is the removal of trees, limbs and debris brought down by wind, snow or ice. - [Brush Chipping & Haul-Off](https://www.azdefensiblespace.com/brush-chipping): Billed by the hour. Brush chipping turns cut branches, brush and small trees into wood chips with a commercial chipper, so the material can be spread on site or hauled away instead of burned. ## Pricing - No published price list.
